JUNIOR CONFIRMATION
YOUTH MINISTRY
Classes offer weekly opportunities in Christian education and growth in God's word for children of all ages.
Offers Christian education through music, fun, games, crafts, and recreation.
Classes offer further developmental growth in Christian teaching and life.
Supporting youth as they grow in Christian faith. Provides various activiites and programs for children throughout the year.
SUNDAY SCHOOL
Sunday School offers a weekly opportunity for hands-on learning and fellowship, as well as growth in God's Word. Classes are held between services on Sundays from 9:30 to 10:30 am, and are offered for children and youth of all ages. Each week Sunday School begins with singing and worship.
VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
Vacation Bible School, held five days in July for preschool age 4 through 5th grade. Consists of a week of Bible stories, games, crafts and songs that show God's plan for our salvation.
JUNIOR CONFIRMATION
From. youth from sixth grade through high school, Junior Confirmation is the opportunity to grow deeper into the teachings of our Christian faith. Classes are held during the Sunday School hour with additional classes as scheduled as needed.

Confirmation at Concordia is a two-year program which begins in seventh grade. During these two years of study, our confirmands (or catechumens) learn the basics of the Christian faith as taught in Holy Scripture and Luther's Small Catechism.
​
Specific emphasis is given to the Old and New Testament, the Ten Commandments, the Apostle's Cred, the Lord's Prayer, Baptism, Holy Communion, Confession and Absolution, and what is means to be Lutheran.
YOUTH MINISTRY & YOUTH GROUP
Bibles studies, fellowship events and service opportunities are also offered for our youth throughout the year. Events include Christmas and Holy week programs and activities, an Annual Easter Egg hunt, and more!

Concordia Youth Group provides an opportunity for fun, fellowship, and growth in god's Word. We aim to meet monthly, with a variety of activities, outings, and service projects. The Youth Group is open to everyone 7th-12th grade. Please join us at our next event!
